The Blog

This blog focuses on engineering excellence in enterprise software with a practical, AI-first lens. The landscape is changing fast with constant choices in models, tooling, and delivery patterns.

My goal is not to advocate for any individual product or tool. These are shifting so fast it is hard to keep recommendations relevant month to month, and sometimes they even shift weekly.

Instead, I focus on paradigms of success: building durable disciplines and practices for AI-first methodologies that can survive the ebb and flow of new tools and guidance, and help you navigate the bumpy transition ahead.

As a testament to AI-first development, this blog is entirely AI-first enterprise-grade development using the same best practices in a scaled-down single-developer execution mode. All localization, infrastructure, security review, monitoring, deployments, and coding is AI-first then human orchestrated and approved.

About me

I am a Software Engineering Director with 15 years of experience in industry-leading companies, spanning both private and public sector projects.

I have had the rare opportunity to launch v1 projects to multi-million user audiences, work on systems handling billions of API calls per day, and support products that have run continuously for 20+ years across multiple rewrites.

What I have learned is to maximize return on the tools available, not let perfect become the enemy of good, and keep moving forward with disciplined execution.
